Alison Banowsky is an actor, improviser, writer and voice-over artist based in Los Angeles. She got her start in the Chicago comedy scene and is an alum of Second City's National Touring Company.
During her time in Chicago she also studied and performed regularly at iO and The Annoyance Theatre.
In LA she performs comedy at spots like The Elysian Theater, UCB, and Lyric Hyperion.
Her TV credits include ABC’s A Million Little Things and she played a supporting role in the feature film Love Dump which was an official selection at Slamdance Film Festival in 2023. Her short film Sandra which she stars in, co-wrote, and produced was an official selection at the Academy Award Qualifying: Santa Fe International Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, and Indy Shorts Film Festival among others.
She has appeared in commercials for brands like Hyundai, Kia, Verizon, Lowe’s, Ring Central, Cabot, Texas Lottery, The Chicago Field Museum and more both on-camera and as a voice-over artist. She narrated the docu-series Tools of the Trade executive produced by and featuring Tony Hawk for YouTube Originals, as well as episodes of the Emmy Award winning nature series Texas Parks & Wildlife on PBS.
